If both partners hit cups, the balls are thrown backwards and can fire again. The two different basic options a beer pong player has in attack are the standard shot and the rebound shot. Both players on one of the teams receive a ping pong ball to throw and can do so simultaneously. Both players on each team must have fired a shot before the other team can shoot.
The standard shot involves the player throwing the ball on the table and placing it in the opponent's cup. The rebound shot is done by bouncing the ball off the table and taking it to the opponent's cups. The ball can bounce many times and then fall into the cup, but you must avoid it because the bouncing shot can be bounced through the opponent's hands. This shot is a bit harder than the others, so it's worth two cups.
The cup in which it fell is drawn, and the team in which the goal was scored chooses an additional cup. The first game of the night is decided by the two teams that go head-to-head. One player from each team receives a ball and shoots to the opposite side while maintaining visual contact with the opposing shooter throughout the shot. The first team to succeed will be the first.
If both players fail or both succeed, their teammates now shoot. The cups that are made (a shot thrown falls into a cup) are not removed from the game. Both balls are given to the shooting team and a round of play begins. After the first game of the night, the winners of the previous game shoot first in the next.
And while the basic version of Beer Pong has its basic rules, it's important for each “house” to establish its own unique set of rules or variations so that the game is truly their own. Beer Pong is usually played in teams of two, in which each team takes turns throwing a ping-pong ball into the other team's glasses. The standard rule of beer pong is to take one tray to put 6 cups back in and the other when there are 2 or 3 cups left. Beer pong is a popular drinking game, a competitive “team sport” and a way of life for weekend lovers.
In memory of the numerous ships and planes that were never heard of again after crossing the triangular area that connects Miami, Puerto Rico and Bermuda, the Bermuda Triangle rule in Beer Pong states that if you sink your opponent's cups so that they form a triangle of intact cups, you can't ask for them to be placed back in place. If you want to party, Entropy Bar offers drinks at affordable prices and even offers beer pong. If you've ever been to a college party or been partying before, chances are you've played or watched a game of beer pong. If the cup is still on the beer pong table and both balls land on it, only 3 cups (2 additional cups chosen by the defending team) are worth.
Place ten cups (usually 18 oz or 16 oz) in the shape of a pyramid, as shown in the diagram, on each side of a beer pong table (usually about 8 feet long).
