Flying Fish is a premium beer. With the first sip, the delicious flavor of pressed lemon or crushed orange is obtained and, just before swallowing it, the rich flavor of beer is brimming with it. Capitalizing on this early notoriety, founder Gene Muller brought Flying Fish to physical stores and built the first microbrewery in South Jersey. The business grew and Flying Fish began producing a variety of beers throughout the year, along with a variety of seasonal specialties.
Flying Fish has also partnered with Great American Brewery Runs, an organization that collaborates with local breweries to organize festivals and charity events. Wherever your trip takes you, there's a Flying Fish craft beer perfect for every moment. The varieties Big Fish Barleywine, Coffee Porter, Love Fish (a belly-infused Belgian Abbey Dubbel beer available around Valentine's Day), Black Fish, and Imperial Espresso Porter are less available (often only in brewery jugs). Flying Fish beers have won ten medals at the Great American Beer Festival, more than any other brewery in New Jersey.
Flying Fish was founded in 1995 as the world's first virtual microbrewery, something new that attracted a lot of attention. The flying fish is a constellation in the Southern Hemisphere that represents “exploration and adventure”.
