Another common house rule states that if a team makes both shots during their turn, a “throwback” occurs that allows each player on that team to shoot again. When the attacker throws a shot and loses it, that team has a chance to try to get the ball before it falls to the ground. If the offensive player can reach it before the ball reaches the ground or the ball returns to that player, he can throw the ball behind his back.
