About Birkenhead Brewery

Birkenhead Brewery holds a special place in South African beer history — it's the country's oldest craft brewery, now part of the Walker Bay Estate on the R326 outside Stanford. The estate pairs the brewery with award-winning cool-climate vineyards, so a single stop covers wine, beer and cheese tastings, plus seasonal food from the estate restaurant.
