Starke Brews brews on Contermanskloof Farm in Durbanville, in the belt of working farms on Cape Town's northern edge where the city gives way to the Swartland wheatfields.
It's a weekend operation: open Friday from midday to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm, closed Monday through Thursday. That makes it a proper farm-afternoon destination rather than a weekday stop.
