About Mad Giant
Mad Giant is one of Johannesburg's most recognisable craft beer names, and it operates from two very different addresses. The brewery itself has been at 1 Fox Street in Ferreirasdorp since August 2016, where beer is made and collections and deliveries are arranged — but there's no restaurant there.
The public face is the Mad Giant Taproom at 96 Conrad Drive in Blairgowrie, Randburg: voted Best Craft Beer Pub in Best of Joburg 2022, with the full range on tap, a snack menu and a friendly neighbourhood-local feel. It's closed Mondays, opens from midday Tuesday to Friday, and runs 9am starts on weekends.
