About Table 58 Brewing
Table 58 Brewing has one of the better origin stories in South African beer. A group of businessmen took to meeting for Friday drinks in an office beside a beachfront East London restaurant that had 57 tables — and persuaded the waiters to label their office Table 58. The name stuck, the group grew, and it now has chapters meeting in the UAE, Germany, Mozambique, Indonesia and Italy.
The brewery and restaurant now operate from the old Floradale Nursery on Gonubie Road in Beacon Bay North. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 9pm most days and to 5pm on Sundays, closed Mondays.
With 1,573 Google reviews at a 4.6-star average, it's the biggest craft beer venue in East London by some distance. Contact [email protected] or +27 43 748 2815.
