About Route 96 Brewery
Route 96 Brewery came into existence in 2015 when the family behind it bought the Graaff-Reinet Brewery and moved the operation to Plot 96 outside Potchefstroom. With more than two decades in the beer industry locally and internationally, they built it around unpasteurised craft beer and on-site accommodation with country views.
Google now lists the premises as permanently closed and publishes no trading hours. The 4.6-star average across 140 reviews reflects a well-regarded brewery rather than a current recommendation.
For North West craft beer today, Brauhaus Afrika on the R24 near Rustenburg is the nearest operating alternative. We'll update this page if the brewery's status changes.
