The Toti Brewing Company

The Toti Brewing Company brews from Southgate Industrial Park in Umbogintwini, just inland from the Amanzimtoti beachfront on KZN's South Coast. It's a working brewery first and a hangout second: doors open weekdays from 9am to 4pm, with Friday nights the exception — the taproom trades until 10pm, making it the natural end-of-week stop for the Toti crowd.

This is one of the few craft breweries flying the flag south of Durban, and it gives the South Coast something the big centres take for granted: beer brewed minutes from where it's poured. Phone ahead on +27 66 228 4928 if you're making a special trip, as weekend hours are limited.
